Training Name | GAL/CASA Training: Understanding and Identifying Prescription and Illicit Drugs and Associated Behaviors, and Interpreting Drug Screens |
Training Description | This training, offered exclusively for current staff, guardians, and attorneys with the Cass Elias McCarter Guardian ad Litem Program and Richland County CASA, will explore and identify a variety of prescription and illicit drugs and behaviors associated with those drugs. The training will also include a review of drug screens, how to read drug levels, and the differences in screening types (e.g., hair follicle, urine, oral, and nail). Time will be allowed for questions and discussion to ensure those who complete the training will have enhanced knowledge to better advocate for the children they serve in their respective cases. This training is offered on a virtual platform, and links will be sent to each registrant near the date of the training. |
