Training Description | This training, offered exclusively for current guardians and staff with the Cass Elias McCarter Guardian ad Litem Program and Richland County CASA, will include a panel of experts from DJJ, DDSN, DMH, and DSS to discuss complexities and challenges involving the placement and care of youth and families involved with multiple agencies. These sessions will have time for discussion to ensure that guardians who complete the training will have enhanced information to better represent the youth in their assigned cases. This training will be presented in a hybrid format. Limited in-person space is available for volunteers serving the Midlands region for the morning panel session which will be held at the SC Fire Academy in Columbia, SC. This training will be offered on a virtual platform for the other regions or those who wish to attend virtually. The links will be sent to each registrant near the date of the training. |
