The spring semester is upon us, which means Discover USC 2020 is just around the corner, and the organizing committee is so excited about this year’s showcase of research, scholarship, leadership and creativity from every corner of the University of South Carolina.
Discover USC registration opens Monday, January 27
We encourage all students, postdocs, faculty and staff to get involved. Undergraduate and graduate students, medical scholars and postdoctoral scholars may sign up to present their projects in every discipline from art to engineering. Graduate students, postdocs, faculty and staff may serve as presentation reviewers, putting them squarely in the action as they interact with presenters and learn about their work. There are volunteer opportunities for all, for as little as one hour. Free boxed lunches will be provided for presenters, reviewers and volunteers.

New for 2020
Discover USC 2020 will have its own app for the first time. Built on the Guidebook app platform, the Discover USC 2020 app will be the resource for navigating the fourth annual showcase of research, scholarship, leadership and creativity. App users will be able to look up presentation abstracts, poster locations and oral and three-minute thesis times, get the scoop on which university organizations are hosting outreach tables, complete the event survey quickly and easily, and much more. The app will be launched about a week before Discover USC 2020 to allow users to plan their day.
