As a Graduate Assistant for Peer Consultants, Sarah helps to advise Peer Consultants to excel in their role. Her responsibilities include co-facilitating training and professional development opportunities, assisting in recruitment efforts, and reporting on programs like Gamecock School Supplies.

As the Associate Director of Early Alert & Intervention, Lauren oversees the department's early alert & intervention initiatives, including all SSC alert & progress report processes, the Peer Consultant Program, and the Money Management Program.

As a Graduate Assistant for Supplemental Instruction, Gabriella supports the SI program through tracking payroll data, assisting with staff meetings, co-facilitating SI leader development, and overseeing the completion of SI leader observations.

Kimberly Dressler

As the Coordinator of Academic Engagement, Kimberly oversees academic engagement initiatives for the SSC. This includes the SophoMORE Initiative, domestic study away initiatives including the National Student Exchange, faculty-student interaction programs, and variety of other office programs.

Sergio Echeverry-Ruiz

As the Graduate Assistant for Gamecock Gateway, Sergio co-supervises and trains peer consultants to best assist all Gateway students. His responsibilities include conducting bi-weekly staff meetings, professional development opportunities, managing regular communication with students through newsletters, and assisting with academic and social program planning.

As a Graduate Assistant for Supplemental Instruction, Caroline helps to support SI leaders to excel in their role. Her responsibilities include assisting in scheduling and logistics for all SI leaders, co-facilitating development opportunities and training, and tracking attendance data.

As the Peer Consultant Manager, Tharangi supports, manages and provides leadership for a team of Peer Consultants who conduct outreach to populations of students and promote positive academic/financial decision making and skill development via Success Consultations and Money Management Consultations.

As the Assistant Director for Course Specific Support, Chris provides leadership and facilitation of all areas of course specific support programs to promote student learning, retention, and degree completion. He oversees the Supplemental Instruction, Peer Tutoring, and Peer Writing and Communications programs.

As the Early Alert Case Manager, Rebecca is responsible for supporting the needs of academically at-risk students in need of intervention. I work with faculty and staff to refer students to the SSC for academic support at any time during the semester.

As the Graduate Assistant for Peer Tutoring, Kevin helps to advise Peer Tutor's in their role. His responsibilities include co-supervising the peer tutors, co-facilitating training and professional development opportunities, and assisting in recruitment efforts.

As the Assistant Director for Gamecock Gateway, Morgan's role includes coordinating communication with current and incoming students, maintaining relationships with key campus partners, and promoting student involvement. The entire Gamecock Gateway team also assists with orientation programming and individual success coaching.

As the Director of the Student Success Center, Dana leads a collaborative team in planning and executing programs which support student academic success, persistence, and graduation from the university. She works closely with academic colleges and offices in assessing their needs for program assistance and responding as appropriate by offering student success programs.

As the Front Desk Manager, Cheryl is the first person you’ll interact with at the SSC, as she receives students and visitors upon their arrival, guiding them to available resources. She oversees the Out-to-Lunch program, hires our Peer Leaders, and handles Travel for the staff.
