Completion of the Money Management Online Module counts as part of the Chapter Excellence Plan. If you're interested in having members of your organization complete the online module, see instructions below:

To access the Financial Literacy Online Module, you must first register for a FREE CashCourse account. Then, follow the steps below:

  1. For State, select 'South Carolina'
  2. For School, select 'University of South Carolina'
  3. From there, you'll automatically be directed to your school's account every time you log in

To complete Financial Literacy Online Assignments, follow the steps below:

  1. Within the student dashboard, select 'My Assignments'
  2. Under 'My Assignments', select 'Tharangi Fernando' from the drop-down menu under 'Instructor/School Administrator'
  3. Complete all of the topics under 'Coursework'. The 7 topics include:
    • Be Credit Savvy
    • Budgeting Basics
    • Getting Started with Saving & Investing
    • Savings and Goal Setting
    • Protecting Yourself with Insurance
    • Prepare for Emergencies
    • Funding Sources
  4. To take each course, select 'View Details', followed by 'Begin Course'. 
  5. Once completed, submit certificates to FSL.

 

Opportunity Scholars Program

Completion of the Money Management Online Module is required for certain students participating in the Opportunity Scholars Program. See instructions below:
