Physical Activity and Exercise

Being active can help improve your mood, energy level and overall health. We offer assessments and can help you find ways to get more physical activity in your daily routine.

We’ll calculate your body fat percentage based on your age, gender, height and weight using a handheld bioelectrical impedance device.

Drop-In Appointment
Drop in any time during business hours for a body fat analysis.

Length of Appointment
About 15 minutes

Get help with a personalized physical activity plan from one of our wellness coaches. Your coaching sessions will be judgement free and give you encouragement through obstacles. Your wellness coach can also help you with other wellness areas such as  balanced eating, stress management and tobacco treatment.

Call us at 803-777-6518 or stop by the Healthy Campus Initiatives office in Thomson 104 to schedule your appointment.

No-Show Fees
You'll be charged a $15 no-show fee if you make an appointment and do not keep it. Avoid a fee by canceling or rescheduling at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Exercise Around Campus

You can squeeze exercise into your routine around campus, even if you don't have time to go the Strom Fitness Center or the Blatt P.E. Center.
