Student Engagement Opportunities

 

Changing Carolina Peer Leaders

Undergraduate leaders who educate, advocate for and engage with peers on topics like mental health, sexual health, healthy relationships and holistic wellness.


Mental Health Ambassadors

Students undergo extensive training in storytelling and suicide prevention. This certification equips them with the skills to effectively facilitate open and honest conversations about mental health, promote emotional well-being and reduce the stigma that surrounds mental illness and suicide.


R.I.S.E. Ambassadors

Students who are passionate about supporting and empowering the UofSC community to engage in bystander intervention through the art of passive and active storytelling.


Healthy Carolina Coalition

Student can get involved in campus-wide initiatives:

  • Carolina Community Coalition
  • Bike Advisory Committee
  • Food Systems Strategy Committee
