James has worked with the Capstone Scholars Program since October 2021. He coordinates international education opportunities for Capstone scholars both on campus and abroad. He has a BA in English, and an MA in rhetoric and composition.  

James uses his background in writing to provide guidance for various student needs, ranging from study abroad applications to professional writing techniques. He also coordinates the Civic Engagement Training program, which helps students understand their place on campus in a broader cultural context.

When he’s away from the office, James enjoys travel and tabletop gaming.
