David received his B.A. in Media Arts and M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina. He has been with the Capstone Scholars Program since 2006.  

David supervises and supports the great work of the Program Leads and Administrative Assistant as well as other duties including budgets, grants, recruitment, academic partnerships, meeting with students, and more.

David enjoys helping students make the most of their USC experience. He also enjoys teaching University 101, University 401 (for Graduation with Leadership Distinction), and University 290 (Capstone Scholars Leadership Program).

David enjoys spending time with this family, is a fan of Gamecock athletics, his church, humor, donuts, and chips and queso. If you see him running on campus, feel free to give him an excuse to stop running and say hello!
