FATS trails are moderate and flowy, and you can expect to spend 2-3 hours on the trail learning beginner and intermediate skills.

Please wear proper athletic attire and footwear, and bring plenty of water and snacks for the trail. We will provide full suspension mountain bikes, transportation, and instruction.

While this can be a challenging hike that ocvers about 7 miles round trip, with 2,000 feet of elevation gain. It is still accessible to beginners that are up for a challenge.

Experience the world of backpacking with this truly exceptional route through Great Smoky Mountains National Park. On this beginner level trip, you can expect to cover approximately 5 miles per day, and spend the nights in backcountry shelters. You'll also pass over Clingmans Dome, the highest point in the park.

Temperatures can be cold during this time of year, so make sure to have proper warm layers and sturdy outdoor footwear. We will provide sleeping bags, backpacks, cooking equipment, and all group gear.
