Purchase your Spring Group X Pass to take advantage of our over 75 classes per week! Visit IMLeagues to see the class schedule, sign up for classes (registration is required), and purchase your Spring Group X Pass.


Reservations Required

Participants are required to make reservations for all Group X classes through  Please see below for steps on how to create your IMLeagues account and register for USC Campus Recreation Group X classes.

  1. Click “Create Account” on
  2. Fill out all information and click “Sign-Up”.  Remember you must use your USC email address.
  3. Go to your email and activate your account with the email they send you.

  2. Click on the “Fitness” tab at the top of your USC home page.
  3. For Group X classes
    1. Select the class that you would like to reserve for that day, or search future classes by date or format.
    2. Click “Sign-up” and submit all required information.
  4. Click “Sign-up” and submit all required information.
  5. You have now completed your reservation, look for a confirmation email with details.

Group X Class Types/Formats

Participants are able to take part in a variety of class types, with multiple formats in each area. Feel free to participate in an old favorite, or try something new!

Grab you suit and take a dive into these fun pool-based classes! You can expect a great workout in a low impact environment that is both fun and challenging.

Try Float Yoga if you are looking for more of a mind-body experience or AquaFit if you want to challenge your strength and cardio.

Join us in our beloved Cycle Studio (WFC 128) for an out of body workout experience! We host a variety of cycle classes to meet every participant’s goals and interests. Each instructor will take you on a journey with them using our fun and interactive lights, workout themes, a variety of music styles and beat based cycle tracks to create a cohesive, fun, and challenging workout.

Never taken a cycle class before? Have no fear, all of our instructors are cycle certified and excited to help you learn and have a great experience in class!

Looking for a serotonin boost? Are you a super fun and funky person? Well, our dance formats are meant for you! What better way to get in a workout than to dance it out!

Our dance formats include WERQ®, a modernized, hip hop style dance class, and Zumba®, a classic and sassy Latin inspired dance class. Build muscle strength without the addition of weights and jam out to the energetic and contagious music chosen by your instructor.

If you have never attended one of our LES MILLS™ formats, you are missing out! These formats all provide not only a great workout, but a good time! Our LES MILLS™ formats include BODYPUMP™ – a full body low weight, high rep strength workout, BODYCOMBAT™ – a cardio-packed martial arts and boxing inspired training class, and BODYFLOW™ – a mind and body fusion of Pilates, tai chi and yoga formats.

No matter what workout style is your jam, our LES MILLS™ formats has something to offer!

From the full body burn of barre and Pilates to the relaxation and release provided in yoga and meditation, our mind and body formats have something new and familiar to offer to every participant! If you are looking for a nice long stretch and to exercise your mind and body connection, our variety of yoga formats will give you the release you desire!

Meanwhile, if you’re searching to break a sweat, our low impact barre and Pilates formats will leave you feeling strong and toned – and probably a little sore too! Every class ends with a relaxing cool down stretch and/or meditation to set the tone for your day or have you feeling ready to rest.

From pure cardio to weight training, and even a fun and challenging combination of both, we have something for you! All of our instructors are ACE® Fitness certified, which allows us to offer a variety of general formats.

From our slow and heavy Total Strength classes, to our quick and bodyweight HIIT Fit workouts, you’re sure to find the workout that fits your style and meets you at your current fitness level!

Private Classes

We are excited to serve our community this year! Throughout the year, we will look at establishing pop-up classes, and you have the ability to request private Group X classes for your organization.
