Students in the University of South Carolina's Department of Sport and Entertainment Management have an extraordinary new opportunity to learn from industry leaders alongside esteemed faculty members. USC alumnus Zach Watson completes 29029 hiking challenge

Sometimes a job is more than just a job, and a hike is much more than just a hike. University of South Carolina two-time alumnus Zach Watson has long been aware of the former. This summer, he experienced the latter firsthand as he climbed the 1600-foot Snow King Mountain trail in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, 19 times in less than 36 hours.

Almost 15 years into his career in venue management, Duane Scott, II, is a leader in his field. As vice president of booking and event operations at Toyota Center, home to the NBA’s Rockets, he calls Houston home. Still, he proudly makes known that he is always a Gamecock: a native of Irmo and University of South Carolina alumnus.
