Congratulations to Tyler Spaid, a senior in the media arts program at the School and Visual Art and Design, for writing and directing a new show on Amazon Prime-- TOUR of the BAND. Tyler Spaid took Professor Northrop Davis’ TV Writing and Advanced Screenwriting classes, where the "Tour of the Band" idea was submitted for a class project. After fielding screenplay revisions from his fellow classmate Holly Kuldell, also a media arts major, he filmed the project over winter break and submitted it to Amazon. The pilot episode was created as part of an independent study with Professor Dustin Whitehead in the UofSC Department of Theatre and Dance.
