Academic Integrity

Academic Integrity at the University of South Carolina is a campus culture that is upheld by the standards established by the Honor Code. Instances of Cheating, Complicity, Falsification, and Plagiarism are taken seriously, and this office aims to hold students accountable when violations of these policies occur.

Academic Integrity in Our Own Words

Here are some quotes from Gamecocks over years on why academic integrity is important to them:

Academic integrity Is important because it creates an environment with integrity and stability. We will use academic integrity not only while in college but after college as well. Throughout college we will continue to put in countless hours of work and in the end that work has value.

Academic integrity is essential because it shows that even if you are struggling or succeeding, you are committed to ensuring that the education you get is earned and that you can avoid devaluing your degree.
