Climbing Wall

Our 52-foot Nicros climbing wall looks and feels like real rock, with routes for both beginners and advanced climbers. Current students and registered faculty, staff and guests can boulder, top rope or lead climb on the wall during scheduled hours.

Tuesdays: 6 – 8 p.m.


Lead Climbing Series Clinics

Learn to lead climb sport routes. Must attend all three dates in the series.

Carolina Crush Climbing Competition

Every spring at the Strom Thurmond Wellness and Fitness Center climbing wall, all levels of climbers attempt to crush our newest routes while spectators cheer them on.

The competition is open to students, faculty, staff and their guests age 18 and older. Prizes are awarded to the winners of each division.
