Early Non-Response to an Internet-Delivered Weight Loss Program:  How to Know it When You See it and What to Do
 

Dr. Unick is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University’s Medical School and at the Miriam Hospital’s Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center.  Unick will highlight the variability in treatment response to behavioral weight loss interventions and offer strategies for improving weight loss outcomes within Internet-delivered programs. Specifically, she will provide data to support a stepped-care approach for adapting treatment based upon initial weight loss response.
