About the Speaker

Dr. Glen Nowak is a Professor of Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Georgia, and Director of the Grady College Center for Health and Risk Communication. For over 20 years, Dr. Nowak has provided seniorlevel leadership in infectious disease, vaccine, and immunization-related communications programs and research. Prior to re-joining UGA in 2013, Dr. Nowak was the Communications Director for the National Immunization Program and Director of Media Relations at the CDC.
