Aphasia Laboratory and C-Star Center for the Study of Aphasia Recovery host two-day aphasia event

Join the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders' Aphasia Laboratory and C-STAR Center for the Study of Aphasia Revovery as they host a two-day Aphasia Event on April 6 and 7: 

On Thursday, April 6, Dr. Tom Broussard, a stroke survivor and neuroeducator, will present the C-STAR Lecture from 2:00-3:00pm on Aphasia Rehabilitation and Recovery from Novel Therapy. Free CEU's are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who register to view the event live online or in person. To register for the CEU credit, please contact Leslie Lancaster to receive a registration packet. See flyer [pdf] for more information. 

For those who would like to attend in person, this event is catered and free of charge. We do request an RSVP as soon as possible to Leslie Lancaster at Lancasle@mailbox.sc.edu or 803-777-1087. We hope to see you there in person or online! 

On Friday, April 7 (10am-12:30pm), we are hosting an Aphasia Community Event for persons with aphasia and their family members, graduate students, faculty and staff. This will be a social event that is catered and free of charge. We hope you are able to attend this event and if so, please RSVP as soon as possible to Leslie Lancaster.
