Health Services Policy and Management Assistant Professor Zaina Qureshi serves on Palmetto Health's Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Steering Committee, a concept (i.e., CHNA) she teaches her students about every fall. Please participate in this survey to help Palmetto Health better understand the health care needs of citizens in the Midlands and better respond to those needs.

Palmetto Health is conducting a community health needs assessment (CHNA) to understand the health care needs of citizens in the Midlands and better respond to those needs. 

Community health needs assessments are designed to help improve the overall health and wellness of a community by identifying needs and resources, and actions needed to address health care delivery in a defined area. This assessment, required with the passage of the Affordable Care Act, will include interviews with state and local elected officials, major employers, community members and community health organizations.
