College of Engineering and Computing

Peer Mentorship

The CEC Peer Mentorship Program

This program promotes student success by pairing first-year engineering and computing students with peer mentors. Undergraduate degrees offered by the College of Engineering and Computing are among the most rigorous at USC, but connections with experienced students can set new students well on their way to graduation, employment or graduate school! Through a structured curriculum of discussion-based interactions, mentors and mentees will have the unique opportunity to partner together for the mentee's successful transition into the CEC and USC at-large. CEC Peer Mentors will share their personal goals, professional ambitions and academic experiences along with valuable campus resources and opportunities. By empowering mentees with information and insight, they will be able to better leverage their own time here in the CEC to meet their own personal, social and professional goals.
