Hanne van der Iest has been named co-PI on a $275,000 South Carolina Film Commission Grant. The SCFC grant funds the 2025 Get On Set Initiative, which brings USC students and Faculty to a professional film set, thereby bridging the gap between academia and the film industry.

Instructor van der Iest has also been named co-PI on a $42,500 McCausland Visiting Scholar grant. She will be producing feature film SUPERVOID  this summer along with, Theatre and Dance colleague, Dustin Whitehead. Check out the McCausland visiting Scholar grant site here for more information.
