Welcome our new undergrad lab assistants!

This semester, six undergraduate research assistants are learning more about social psychology experiments. They have been running experimental sessions with participants for our studies:

Bella

Bella is majoring in Public Health major. She loves gymnastics. “I wanted to be a research assistant to gain more experience and contribute to meaningful studies that can influence real-world change.”

Eliana

Eliana is a freshman majoring in Public Health on the pre-med track. Eliana enjoys reading, playing soccer, and badminton. “I wanted to be a research assistant because I love research, especially sociological research, and this position will be the perfect introduction for me to build the skills necessary to pursue more opportunities in the future.” 

Elizabeth

Elizabeth is a senior majoring in Anthropology with a minor in Sociology. Elizabeth is involved with USC's Anthropology Student Association and volunteers at a local museum. “I am extremely excited to learn as much as I can and gain hands-on experience as a research assistant in the Sociology Department.”

Kathryn

Kathryn is a junior majoring in Marketing with a minor in Sociology. Kathryn enjoys photography and spending time in nature. “I am very excited to begin my work with the Sociology Department, collaborate with students and peers, and broaden my knowledge of research and data!”

Rachelle

Rachelle is a sophomore majoring in Biological Sciences. Rachelle enjoys drawing, reading, and spending time with her friends. “I wanted to become a research assistant because I am interested in gaining experience in scientific fields, and I felt that this would be a good starting point.”

Riley

Riley is a sophomore majoring in Public Health. In her free time, Riley loves to play tennis with her friends and family. “I wanted to be a research assistant to gain hands-on experience and better understand the methodologies and techniques involved in sociological studies.”
