Current open Post-doctural positions:

  • Designed to attract, support, and retain scholars from groups historically underrepresented in their departments or fields, this “Bridge to Faculty” postdoctoral position in the Department of Psychology is part of a new and exciting initiative at the University of South Carolina (USC). The purpose of the Bridge to Faculty Program is to recruit early-career scholars who, if successful during the post-doctoral period, may have the opportunity to transition to tenure track faculty at USC starting in the 2025-2026 academic year.

Current open staff positions:

  • Under the limited supervision of the Psychology Department Chair and the Graduate Program Directors, this position coordinates the daily operations of the Psychology Graduate Student Services Office and provides guidance to the program directors in regards to APA accreditation, curriculum requirements, student applications, progression, and graduation requirements. The Psychology Department offers a Ph.D. in Psychology with four concentrations: Cognitive & Neural Science, School Psychology, Clinical Community Psychology and Quantitative Psychology. This position develops and administers policies and procedures for the doctoral programs to ensure conformance with the American Psychological Association, the University and Graduate School requirements. This person also creates and maintains reports of student information.
