Our instruments
Thermo Scientific box furnace provides an ideal heating and drying solution for research.
The programable digital controller makes it easy to operate. Maximum operating temperature
is 1200 ℃.
Quantum Design‘s MPMS providing users with the sensitivity of a SQUID (Superconducting
Quantum Interference Device) magnetometer and the choice of multiple measurement modes.
The MPMS offers new levels of performance in magnetic research. The MPMS incorporates
major advances in data acquisition, temperature control and magnetic field sensitivity.
The scanning tunneling microscope (STM) works by scanning a very sharp metal wire
tip over a surface. By bringing the tip very close to the surface, and by applying
an electrical voltage to the tip or sample, we can image the surface at an extremely
small scale – down to resolving individual atoms.
The DV-502A is the the proven line of DV-502 series of evaporators. Since 1964, thousands
of these units have been installed at universities and research labs throughout the
world. By using state-of-the-art electronic components and an advanced vacuum design,
the DV-502A can rapidly and repeatedly cycle from atmosphere to high vacuum .
The helium recovery, storage and purification systems allows us to recover and liquefy
the helium gas currently being lost from the normal boil off and helium transfers
of our cryogenic instruments. It is a perfect helium recycling solution for research.
Glovebox is patented double vacuum seal technology. It has low leakage rate (10x better
than the industry standard); minimal circulation times, extended regeneration intervals,
and high purifier capacity (2-3x better than industry standard); excellent inert gas
efficiency. The Purity Level is < 1 ppm O2, H2O. The glove box provides Siemens Programmable
Logic Controller, automated pressure control and foot pedal for manual control. We
use N2 gas as working gas (supplied at 80 psi).
Electron Beam Evaporation is a powerful
physical vapor deposition process that allows the user to evaporate materials that
are difficult or even impossible to process using standard resistive thermal evaporation.
Electron beam deposition uses a magnet to focus electrons to form a beam, which is
then directed towards a crucible that contains the material of interest. The energy
of the electron beam is transferred to the material, which causes it to start evaporating.
Many metals, such as aluminum, will melt first and then start evaporating, while ceramics
will sublimate. The material vapors then travel out of the crucible and coat the substrate.
Centrifuge is designed for the laboratory research with 6 stainless rotors. It can
operate at 7 different speed.
Heated lengLindberg/blue three zone tube furnace. It is installed with K-type thermal
couples. Independent digital controllers provide excellent control with no overshooting
temperature. It is an excellent furnace for sample annealing, diffusion, and sintering
in the various gas atmosphere up to 1500°C.
Muffle furnaces are ideal for the determination of volatile and suspended solids,
drying and evaporating, ignition tests, gravimetric analysis, ashing organic and inorganic
samples and heat treatment operations. The digital controller makes it easy to operate.
Maximum operating temperatures are: 1100 ℃ (type 1400) and 1200 ℃ (type 1500).
Heated lengLindberg/blue single zone tube furnace features outstanding performance.
It is an excellent choice to design thermal processing in a laboratory environment.
Excellent temperature uniformity and a programmable control system makes it easy to
operate. Maximum operating temperature is 1400C.
The Quantum Design PPMS is a an open architecture, variable temperature-field system,
designed to perform a variety of automated measurements. Available measurement options
include all required hardware are included. Sample environment controls include fields
up to ±8 T and a temperature range of 1.9 - 400 K. The expandable design enables combining
many features in one instrument to make the PPMS the most versatile system of its
kind.
NanoFrazor® Explore is used for nanopatterning of quantum devices on 1D/2D materials,
such as quantum dots, Dolan bridges and Josephson junctions, and nanoscale arrays.
Its unique capabilities enable new devices in new materials. With the direct laser
sublimation module, nano-and microstructures are now seamlessly and quickly written
into the same resist layer in a single fabrication step. In-situ imaging enables two
unique features: markerless overlay, and comparison of the written and target patterns
during writing, so the parameters can be immediately adjusted. This approach, called
closed-loop lithography, results in sub-2 nm vertical precision for 2.5D (grayscale)
shapes of any complexity. Fast and precise control of a heated nanoscale tip enables
innovation not otherwise feasible.
Coffing manual chain hoist is mounted overhead on a girder which crosses over the
whole lab. It makes people have easy access and quick, safe movement of the heaviest
objects within the lab. The weight capacity is 1 ton and lifts payloads up to 12 feet.
Single-phase and three-phase hoists available.
The popular Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS) from Quantum Design is available
in a truly cryogen-free package. The PPMS DynaCool uses a single two-stage Pulse Tube
cooler to cool both the superconducting magnet and the temperature control system,
providing a low vibration environment for sample measurements. It offers continuous
low temperature control and precise field and temperature sweep modes. The PPMS DynaCool
also comes standard with an integrated cryopump, which makes it compatible with all
available PPMS measurement options, or any other user designed experiments.
It’s a Stainless Steel oven with 1.4 cubic feet capacity. The interior dimensions
is 13”x14”x13”. The temperature range is between 15℃ and 325 ℃. Oven contains 2 shelves.
