Have you heard? Midlands Gives returns on May 4th, 2021.
Last year, McKissick Museum participated in Midlands Gives for the first time. With your generous donations and a little magic from Dominion Energy, we were able to raise $9,801 for traditional artists affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We could not have done it without you, and we hope that we can come together and make some more magic this year.
Over the last year, McKissick has continued to make a difference in our community. We’ve created opportunities for people to engage with timely and compelling exhibitions, even while we were closed to the public, by offering online exhibit experiences. Now that the Museum has reopened to the public, we’ve resumed in-person exhibitions and started some really unique projects like our Punk & Old-Time Radio Show. McKissick strives to make a difference in our community, on and off-campus, and we could not continue to do so without your support.
This year, McKissick Museum hopes to raise $10,000, so that we can continue to do just that: Make a Difference. Your gift on May 4th will ensure that we can get ambitious and meaningful projects over the finish line.
