McKissick Museum is open!
We continue to adhere to University and CDC recommendations for the safety of our visitors and staff. Due to the size of our galleries, we ask that groups of 10 or more call 803-777-2876 prior to visiting. Be sure to take a look at our tour tips and safety guidelines before your visit.
Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
McKissick Museum will be closed Saturday, September 4th, and Monday, September 6th, in observance of Labor Day.
Metered parking is available street side on Bull and Pendleton Streets, or on the lower levels of the Pendleton Street Garage. Visitors should enter the garage from Pickens Street. Weekend visitors may enjoy free parking in the gated parking circle on the north side of the building, at the intersection Bull and Pendleton Streets.
McKissick Museum and its exhibitions are handicap accessible. Our accessible entrance is located on the north side of the building, facing Pendleton Street. Handicap parking is available in the parking circle on the north side of the building.
Tours are available by request via email or by calling 803-777-2876. Tour requests can be submitted up to four months in advance and no less than 14 days prior to the requested tour date.
Photography is permitted inside the museum, however we ask that you refrain from the use of flash photography within our exhibition spaces.
