McKissick Museum is open! We’re so excited to welcome you back to campus.
You can explore the entire museum, including two brand new exhibits, by registering for free tickets in advance. Be sure to take a look at our tour tips and safety guidelines before your visit.
Due to limited gallery capacity, we recommend all guests reserve their tickets in advance.
Free timed admission tickets are available by the hour and up to two months in advance via Eventbrite or by calling 803-777-7251. We are currently only able to accommodate 8 guests each hour. Face coverings and physical distancing are required during your visit.
Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Metered parking is available street side on Bull and Pendleton Streets, or on the lower levels of the Pendleton Street Garage. Visitors should enter the garage from Pickens Street. Weekend visitors may enjoy free parking in the gated parking circle on the north side of the building, at the intersection Bull and Pendleton Streets.
McKissick Museum and its exhibitions are handicap accessible. Our accessible entrance is located on the north side of the building, facing Pendleton Street. Handicap parking is available in the parking circle on the north side of the building.
Visits to the Museum are primarily self-guided. However, you can request a guided tour during the ticket reservation process or by calling 803-777-2876. Tours are currently capped at 8 guests.
Photography is permitted inside the museum, however we ask that you refrain from the use of flash photography within our exhibition spaces.
