We partner with departments across the College of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate with Leadership Distinction program to recruit interns and volunteers to assist with collection and exhibition maintenance. When you work with us, you'll get practical, professional training in a real museum setting.
We also provide support for the Geology department, serving as a laboratory for Geology 101 students who visit our permanent exhibit of natural history collections.
The School of Visual Art and Design offers a graduate certificate program designed to provide specialized, hands-on museum training to complement other academic studies. The program uses McKissick Museum as a teaching tool to train you to work in one of our nation's rapidly growing institutions. Find out if the program is right for you.»
