Chad Hardaway, Director
As a patent attorney and chemical engineer, Chad brings a broad skill set to intellectual
property protection and management. He has a passion for and expertise in entrepreneurship
and small business development and has served as a mentor of multiple National Science
Foundation I-Corps teams.
Tiffany Beverly, J.D., Associate Director
As an attorney with a background in business litigation, Tiffany brings an expertise
in contracts law and oversees legal agreements for TCO. She also serves as primary
contact for questions about the office and intellectual property at USC.
Kyle Salazar, M.P.A., Associate Director, Business Development
Formerly a healthcare business consultant, Kyle uses his business acumen to move USC
technologies from classrooms and labs to the marketplace by connecting businesses
with solutions that meet their needs.
Michael Cantelmi, M.Ed., Licensing and Compliance Associate
Formerly a patent administrator, Michael is responsible for identifying potential
licensees for USC patents, marketing the university's technologies, and promoting
the TCO to both industry and USC's community of researchers and inventors.
