How to Join

Fraternities and sororities at USC are led by four councils, all of which obtain new members through a variety of recruitment and intake events that begin early fall semester, and continue for many chapters throughout the year.

College Panhellenic Association (CPA) Sorority Recruitment

Registration for formal sorority recruitment in Aug. 2020 will open May 2020.
The Panhellenic chapters at South Carolina participate formal in sorority recruitment prior to the start of the fall semester. In addition, some chapters continue to hold informal recruitment events throughout the year.

Interfraternity Council (IFC) Recruitment

Fraternity recruitment provides an opportunity for men to explore the variety of fraternities at USC. Students must register for formal recruitment prior to the start of recruitment in the fall or spring.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) Membership Intake

Membership intake is the process by which our NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council) and our MGC (Multicultural Greek Council) select, educate and initiate new members.
