Financial Aid and Scholarships

Your resource for accessing grants, scholarships, loans, employment or other financial options that can reduce your educational costs at the University of South Carolina.

Apply for Aid

To apply for federal student aid and need-based grants, complete the FAFSA online as soon as possible using school code 003448. The application opens October 1 and must be completed no later than April 1 to be considered for all financial aid resources.

Loans are a form of aid that must be paid back within a specific time. If you feel Federal, private or other loans may be the right option for you, carefully consider all loan-related factors like loan servicing fees, interest rates and repayment plans before choosing or accepting any loan.
