On March 17, the Institute for Rural Education and Development was the site of a day and a half workshop on structural equation modeling (SEM) led by Greg Hancock, Ph.D.
Hancock is a Professor, Distinguished Scholar-Teacher, and long-time Director of the Quantitative Methodology: Measurement and Statistics graduate program at the University of Maryland, and co-host of the popular podcast “Quantitude.” The workshop was co-sponsored by the Department of Educational and Developmental Science and the Institute for Rural Education and Development, and it primarily focused on advanced topics in SEM such as mean structure models, non-linear relations, latent growth modeling, and power analysis.
