IRED and SC-CATER at Jubilee: Festival of Black History and Culture

The South Carolina Center for Assistive Technology and Educational Research (SC-CATER) and the Institute for Rural Education and Development (IRED) recently participated in the Jubilee: Festival of Black History and Culture. They hosted robotic demonstrations and offered children hands-on programming experiences with robots.

If you’re interested in providing STEM experiences for your students—including those with disabilities, language learners, and more—reach out to SC-CATER Director Ismahan Arslan-Ari, Ph.D. at arslanai@mailbox.sc.edu or Matt Irvin, Ph.D. at irvinmj@mailbox.sc.edu.

SC-CATER also offers accessible robotics sessions specifically designed for students with disabilities.
