Mental Health Matters

Be real with how you are doing. Open up to friends, family and others in your support system. Be there for others. Listen. Follow up. Caring for your whole self, including your mental health, will have a positive impact on your time at Carolina and the future.

What Would Cocky Do?

Each of us plays an important role in keeping our campus safe and healthy, so we hope to encourage our entire Carolina family to step in and speak up when they need to. We want everyone to feel a sense of comfort and responsibility in their role as a bystander and understand that they can make a difference.

Move More Carolina

The Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans recommend two-and-a-half hours of moderate, or one hour and fifteen minutes of vigorous, aerobic physical activity each week to stay healthy. Adults should also aim to include muscle-strengthening activities that engage all major muscle groups two or more days per week.

Take Care

As mental health becomes more and more a part of the national conversation, we want to encourage you to Take Care of yourself this semester. Self-care is not selfish, and should always be celebrated and encouraged.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
