Bio
Before arriving in Columbia in 2010, Mr. Fuleihan was the administrative director of an outpatient substance abuse treatment center that served criminal offenders with drug and alcohol problems. He is currently in the final phase of his dissertation; a case study of a juvenile drug court program in a large Southeastern city. His present research includes assisting another faculty member in analyzing depictions of drug and alcohol use in popular feature films shown in the United States. Mr. Fuleihan continues to volunteer his time working with substance-abusing offenders, also serving on the board of a long-term therapeutic community (treatment center) near Asheville, NC.
