Doctoral Student Receives Honorable Mention for Research on Female Community Corrections Officers

 

Amber Wilson, a second year PhD student in our program, received an honorable mention from the American Society of Criminology Division on Women and Crime for the 2019 Feminist Criminology Graduate Research Scholarship. This accolade for her research proposal, "The Experiences of Female Community Corrections Officers: An Intersectional Perspective," comes not only with the honor of recognition but also an award of $500.
