High school and College students interested in joining Air Force ROTC at the University of South Carolina should read the information below and follow the application instructions.
Scholarships
High School and College students are both eligible to apply for scholarships through Air Force ROTC. High School students generally compete for 3 or 4-year scholarships while College students are usually only eligible for 2 or 3-year scholarships. AFROTC is normally a 4-year program, but in some cases, the program can be completed in 3 years. At a minimum, a student must have 6 semesters remaining in their academic program to join AFROTC. Application Process
- Complete University of South Carolina Application online.
- Complete AFROTC Application online the AFROTC Applicant Guide [pdf].
- Once accepted, enroll in Air Force ROTC New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) and specified AEROSPACE courses:
- Four Year Program (AS100s) - AERO 101 and 101L
- Three Year Program (AS250s) - AERO 101, 201 and 201L
