Undergraduate Program

Undergraduates can gain experience in national security, science and energy research areas, along with the possibility of working for the Savannah River National Laboratory.

Program Opportunities

Students in the National Laboratories Office's undergraduate program will be given opportunities for hands-on research experience. Internships with the Savannah River National Laboratory may also be offered to qualifying students in the program.

National Security, Science and Energy Research Experience

The Savannah River National Laboratory provides opportunities for students to experience a professional development environment while working in an intensive research setting. The experience centers around the topics of national security, science and energy, which are all relevant areas for SRNL's mission.

During the academic year, this program will support selected sudents to work in research labs of affiliated faculty for either independent study credit or compensation.

Savannah River National Laboratory Career Opportunities

The Savannah River National Laboratory offers undergraduate internships and other opportunities that provide research and work experiences that complement their academic training. Students in this office's program may be eligible to participate.
