More Than Meets the Eye
While fraternities and sororities are known as a great way to meet people and foster
new relationships, the value of our community extends beyond social interaction.
1,959 members earned a 4.0 GPA during the Spring 2024 semester; that’s around 20%
of our fraternal community!
In the 2023 calendar year, USC fraternity and sorority members completed over 140,500
hours of community service and donated more than $1,263,000 to philanthropic partners.
Our chapters participate in a number of leadership programs, including a Greek Leadership
Conference & Retreat and New Member Summits for each council!
Greek Activity Fee
The Greek Activity Fee increased to $125/semester beginning Fall 2024 for all students
affiliated with a USC fraternity or sorority. With a growing community in both membership
and number of chapters, our need to provide more resources grows as well. This increase
is to better support new and existing chapters on campus with student leadership development,
enhancements to the member experience, and the continued building of a positive fraternal
experience at the university. The fee was last increased in Fall 2016 and receives
Board of Trustees approval along with all other student activity fees.
