Visual communications students recognized by international organization

School of Journalism and Mass Communications visual communications students will be honored for excellence in design at the 2021 Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication virtual conference on Aug. 4.

AEJMC is the country’s oldest organization of college-level journalism and mass communications educators. Students competed against some of the top journalism and visual communications programs from around the world.

“Our visual communications students do such incredible work, and I am always so proud when they receive recognition for their talent,” says vis comm sequence head Tara Mortensen. “The AEJMC awards are particularly valuable because their work will be seen by a national and international audience of peers, designers, and educators. Ours is truly a top visual communication program!”
