What to Expect

Meet USC faculty and staff and get to know some of your peers. This one-day session is required for all newly admitted students and is designed to make your transition to our campus community as seamless as possible.

You'll learn about living at the University of South Carolina and get acquainted with our campus policies and procedures. We will introduce you to your academic program along with related policies, curriculum and degree requirements.

You'll also be advised, so that you can register for your first semester of classes. Please plan to bring an item for our Community Engagement Service Project with you to your orientation session. Our program collects and distributes nonperishable items to Gamecock Pantry and St. Andrews Kids Café, a service of Harvest Hope Food Bank. Don't forget to pick up your CarolinaCard!
