Class Descriptions

Group X classes are taught by trained instructors, at all experience levels and intensities.

All Group X Classes are free through May 5! The Summer Group X Pass will be available for purchase on May 1. 

 

Aqua

Grab your suit and take a dive into this new fitness class! Aqua Fit will incorporate weights, aerobics, and stretching to directly improve all aspects of physical fitness: strength, endurance, flexibility, cardio  and body composition. You can expect a high energy, yet low impact workout in the water that is both fun and challenging.

Stay tuned for aqua pop-up class dates in Spring '24.

Float Yoga is the practice of yoga on a paddle board in the middle of a body of water. We take this format to our outdoor pool where our participants will practice their traditional yoga flows with the added challenge of building strength, stability, and mindfullness. Be prepared to get wet with this class, so dress accordingly!

Strength & Cardio

A mixture of elements such as Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training movements, this energetic class will help target most major and minor muscle groups to strengthen and improve flexibility and posture. Use of ballet bars and small bands may be incorporated. Class structure may slightly differ with instructor. No previous dance experience needed.

BODYCOMBAT™ is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burning calories in a fun class. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.

BODYPUMP™ is THE ORIGINAL BARBELL CLASS™, the ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP™ gives you a total body workout that burns calories and builds muscle. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically-backed moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

This high energy demanding workout will challenge you by incorporating both strength and cardiovascular movements to maximize your workout. You can expect high intensity, fast-paced movements, plyometric drills and use of kettlebells, battle ropes, medicine balls and more. This class is great for those looking to minimize time at the gym while maximizing strength and endurance. All fitness levels are welcome.

H.I.I.T. Fit uses principles of high intensity interval training to elevate your heart rate and boost your cardiovascular fitness in a short amount of time. You can expect intervals of activity with intermittent rest periods, burning calories during class and for hours after. The class will vary based on instructor and may utilize bodyweight movements, light to medium weights, resistance bands, medicine balls or more!

Total Core is designed to build strength, stability, and endurance in the muscles of your core. We define "core" as any muscle that supports your posture and midsection, so be prepared to work more than just your abs. Instructors may use resistance bands, weights, and other equipment paired with body weight movements like crunches, planks, and bridges.

This class is a challenging and dynamic full body workout that targets all major muscle groups. Equipment such as dumbbells, resistance bands, barbells, and more will be used to challenge your strength and build muscle. All fitness levels are welcome.

TRX Suspension training systems will be used to leverage gravity and bodyweight to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously, during this full body class. Instructors may also incorporate bodyweight strength, light to moderate weights, or even cardio breaks. Instruction on how to use the TRX system and proper form, alignment and safety will be shown. No prior TRX experience is necessary.

Cycling

Take a 45-minute guided ride on our Keiser indoor cycling bikes with varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities to challenge your cardiorespiratory endurance and lower body strength. Music and choreography will vary based on instructor, but you can expect to increase your heart rate, challenge your core and lower body, and sweat the calories away every single time. Instruction on bike setup and safety will be provided prior to class. All fitness levels are welcome.

This 60-minute fusion class will challenge both your endurance and strength! You should expect varying speeds, resistance levels, and intensities on our Keiser indoor cycling bikes to build cardiorespiratory endurance and lower body strength, followed by mat exercises designed to stabilize, strengthen, and define the muscles of your core.

Take a 30-minute guided ride on our Keiser indoor cycling bikes with varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities to challenge your cardiorespiratory endurance and lower body strength. Music and choreography will vary based on instructor, but you can expect to increase your heart rate, challenge your core and lower body, and sweat the stress away every single time. Instruction on bike setup and safety will be provided prior to class. All fitness levels are welcome.

This 60-minute fusion class will provide challenges in strength, endurance, and flexibility. You should expect varying speeds, resistance levels, and intensitities on our Keiser indoor cycling bikes for the first half of class. The second half of class will be an abbreviated 30-minute version of BODYFLOW, a new generation of yoga that will improve your mind, body, and life.

This 60-minute fusion class will challenge both your endurance and strength! You should expect varying speeds, resistance levels, and intensities on our Keiser indoor cycling bikes to build cardiorespiratory endurance and lower body strength combined with exercises with light weight dumbbells to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. Class structure may vary by instructor.

Mind-Body

This is a form of yoga where you should expect a challenging, flowing sequence of poses that increases your heart rate and makes you sweat! Strong moving flows that cultivate balance, stability, flexibility, and vigor are the foundation of this form of yoga. Breath awareness and coordination are carried throughout the practice as the workout ebbs and flows between effort and ease. Modifications are offered for beginning and advanced students. Intensity levels and use of props may vary between instructors.

Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYFLOW® is a new generation yoga class that will improve your mind, body, and your life. You can expect to bend and stretch through a combination of simple yoga moves, Tai Chi, and Pilates while an inspiring soundtrack plays in the background. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started.

Yoga is a physical and mental practice that utilizes breathwork, stretching and strengthening to still the mind, and calms the body to leave you feeling refreshed and strong.

Yoga Relax is a form of yoga focusing on mental and emotional relaxation, while still including traditional yoga poses and sequences. Less intense poses may be held for a longer duration and additional floor work may be included to achieve a relaxed state of mind and body. Good class for those looking to relax and recharge for your day ahead. Use of props may vary between instructors.

Enjoy a low impact class designed to strengthen your core and leave you feeling strong. Exercises will focus on the deep core and stabilizing muscles to improve your posture and help build healthy movement patterns for life. All fitness levels are welcome.

Dance

A wildly addictive cardio dance workout. Based on the hottest pop and hip-hop music.

Zumba® is a class is designed to bring people together to sweat. You can expect a mix of low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, sweat-inducing dance fitness party. This total body workout will improve your cardiorespiratory fitness, muscle endurance, balance, and flexibility. Expect a boost of good energy and great music from our instructors.
