Campus Recreation offers a wide range of innovative programming from indoor fitness to
outdoor adventures. The experienced Campus Recreation team maintains the university's
two comprehensive wellness, fitness and recreation centers plus the university's diverse
fitness programs, recreational activities, and intramural and sport clubs.
University of South Carolina-Columbia students who are enrolled during the Spring
2018 semester and pre-enrolled for the Fall 2018 semester who are not enrolled in
summer semester classes who wish to utilize the facility during the summer may do
so by paying a fee.

Session One: June 4-15
Session Two: June 18-June 29 Session Three: July 23-August 3
The Strom outdoor pool will be open from 6:15 a.m. to 9 a.m. until June 1 for morning
swim. The indoor pool hours will remain the same, Monday through Friday, 6:15 a.m.
to 7:30 p.m., and noon to 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. The outdoor pool will also
be open 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and noon to 7:30 p.m., Saturday
Register for Summer Intramural Sports
Registration opens on May 10 in the Strom WFC Intramural Sports office Room 201-D,
noon to 3 p.m.
Maintenance to close Strom Indoor Pool
The Strom Thurmond WFC indoor pool, sauna, and spa will be closed for maintenance
May 14 to 18. During this time the outdoor pool will be open for use.
