Emergency Call Boxes
Several call boxes are strategically placed around campus. The boxes can be easily identified by their bright blue lights and provide a direct line of communication with Security Dispatch at Prisma Health. Call boxes should be used to report crimes in progress, fires, medical emergencies, or threats to personal safety.
To operate, simply push the red button. You will immediately be connected with Security Dispatch at Prisma Health. Even if you are unable to communicate, the dispatcher will know your exact location. If you are being chased and cannot stop, press the call boxes as you pass and police officers will respond to the area.

Is this an emergency? Call 9-1-1
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, a fire, or a medical emergency, please call 911. Operators work closely with campus emergency resources to correctly route your call.
Is this a non-emergency case? Call Prisma Health Dispatch at 864-455-7931
Operators will work with you to assist with things like needing an escort to walk you to your car, a security problem such as ice on a walkway, or a broken entry door.
