Reservations

A Trip Request is required for travel to and use of the marine field facilities and/or habitats, no matter the length of the trip or whether any charges will be incurred.

The Trip Request form [PDF] is available here or a copy can be picked up outside the Columbia Baruch office (607 EWS).  The signed form is submitted via email to (reservations@baruch.sc.edu)

USC faculty, Staff, and students:  If fees will be charged to your department, the form must include the department and account numbers and be signed by the person approved to authorize payment of the fees.

Rates

Fees are charged for lodging and conference facilities (rate sheet [PDF]), and also for laboratory space, equipment, boats and vehicles, and some services (rate sheet[PDF]).   Basic laboratory equipment and non-expendable supplies are included with laboratory space rental. There is no charge for orientation to the site and programs.
