Face coverings will be required on-campus and social distancing will be encouraged among members of the campus community. The semester will be offered in an accelerated format, with in-person instruction ending on Nov. 24. In addition, classes will be held on many traditional holidays and breaks to allow for the semester to end earlier than usual. Campus will be closed on Labor Day (Sept. 7). Classes will be held asynchronous (virtual) on Labor Day (Sept. 7) and Election Day (Nov. 3). Classes will be held remotely on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Fall break will also be cancelled with face-to-face instruction being held on Oct. 15-16. This schedule also aligns with that of University of South Carolina's institution in Columbia.

The USC Union Bookstore is located just a few steps away from the USC Union Main Building at 311 East Main Street. Students can purchase textbooks for the semester, get their Carolina Card made, and pick up Bantam attire to wear to the games! Parking permits are issued in the Central Building.

Student Center

Directly behind the Bookstore, students enjoy playing pool and hanging out in the Student Center. Game rooms are off to the side where you can challenge your friends to an Xbox game. Snacks and coffee are available in the Bookstore and can be purchased with their Carolina Card.

Bobby & Barbara Rippy Courtyard

Right outside the Student Center, the new Bobby & Barbara Rippy Courtyard is the perfect location for outside reading and meeting up with friends. The courtyard has power stations placed near seating areas to charge your phone or tablet.
