About

Postal Services provides mail handling and passport services for university students, administration, and the faculty and staff of the Columbia campus through two locations.

Our Mission

The University of South Carolina Postal Service provides a professional and efficient mail service for the university community using existing and emerging technology. We are responsible for the delivery, collection and processing of all intra-campus, inter-agency and U.S. Postal Service mail to all USC academic and administrative offices and mail service to all student mailboxes at the Student Mail Center.

We also serve as an intermediary between campus and the U.S. Postal Service through its operation of a USPS contract station at 1600 Hampton Street and a shipping and mailing service at the Student Mail Center.
