Bio

Artem Arefyev is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia and grew up in Columbia, SC. After graduating with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 2017, Artem went on to work for his fraternities Executive Office in Iowa City, Iowa. He is now back at UofSC as a second year HESA student pursuing his Higher Education Administration graduate degree.

During his free time (when he has any), Artem enjoys skateboarding, working out, and watching unhealthy amounts of Hulu and Netflix with his cat Nicholai. He is a big fan of Star Wars and Marvel, so don’t be afraid to throw in a reference. Artem loves to travel and hope to one day visit every continent (Antarctica included!)
