New students should log on to CarolinaCard Online, select the "CarolinaCard Photo Upload" link and follow all four simple steps to complete their photo upload. We will send an email to notify you when your photo has been accepted or rejected. If we do not accept your photo, you will be given a reason and told how to correct the problem.

Avoid having your photo rejected by following these simple guidelines:

• Use a solid background
• Crop your photo from head to shoulders, making sure to get your head in the frame entirely
• Eyes must be open
• No objects
• No gestures or body movement
• No hats, scarves or sunglasses
• No other people in the photo
