Darla Moore School of Business

Corporate Internships

The Moore School International MBA program includes an internship in which students build on core classes and gain real-world work experience that adds value to job placement and career development.

I was fortunate to intern with Adidas. I stood out among the other applicants due to the Moore School’s unique International MBA program and my past work experiences.”
— Elizabeth Johnson, German track, 2013

You will work with an assigned career coach to identify potential internship opportunities in your geographic region of interest. This allows you to receive professional guidance on the process of searching and matching to a particular company or industry, interviewing, and securing an internship. Each student is responsible for interviewing for and securing their internship.

Most International MBA internships start in May following completion of the spring semester in the first year and will end in mid-August before the start of fall term classes. While start and end dates may vary slightly, internships normally run between 10 and 15 weeks.  Employer expectations will be different depending upon location, project needs, preferences and other parameters.

Recent corporate internships included the following companies:
  • Accenture
  • Adidas
  • ADP
  • Apple
  • Bank of America
  • Bayer
  • Cognizant
  • Dell
  • Daimler AG
  • Ford Motor Co.
  • The Hartford
  • Honeywell
  • Michelin
  • Milliken

I had the opportunity to work with management to develop a company-wide e-training program that explains how Michelin’s supply chain functions and why it is important to the company."
