Tutoring

The College of Engineering and Computing, in partnership with the Student Success Center, offers free drop-in tutoring in Swearingen, Room 1A07 (near the Main Street entrance). Help will be available for math, science and other introductory-level courses. Tutoring hours are posted each semester by course. Students are encouraged to stop by anytime during these hours.

The Student Success Center's main office is located in the Thomas Cooper Library, with other satellite offices located in selected residence halls. The Student Success Center offers:

Free tutoring, supplemental instruction, academic skills coaching, and other services to promote academic success.

  • Programs for specific student populations, including veterans and transfer students.
  • An Out-to-Lunch Program designed to promote faculty and undergraduate student interaction outside the classroom.
  • Online resources that support the development of study skills and college success.
